What is PrebookR?
PrebookR is an Irish ride booking platform connecting passengers with independent, NTA licensed SPSV drivers. You can request a journey now or plan one ahead, subject to driver availability.
Does a pre-booking guarantee a driver?
A pre-booking is a request for a future journey. Your booking is accepted when a driver accepts it, and you receive confirmation. If a driver has not been confirmed, PrebookR will tell you as early as possible. Check your booking status before making travel plans.
How is my fare calculated?
Your trip uses the regulated taxi meter fare, plus the fees shown before booking. PrebookR does not add surge, dynamic or personalised pricing to the meter fare. Optional Priority and Urgent requests carry additional fees. See booking fees.
How do rider rewards work?
You earn points on eligible completed and paid trips at the rate shown in the app. Your balance, eligible retailers and voucher exchange levels are shown there. Tips, fees and tolls do not earn points. Explore rewards.
What is the standard driver commission?
The standard commission is 9.75 % of the full meter total the driver records on completed trips. Tolls and tips are excluded from the commission base. An optional fixed-fee plan is also available under the current driver agreement. Compare plans.
